I am feeling much better today. I finally had to bite the bullet and have the cats declawed. I was very worried about doing this as I didn't want the cats to suffer. I took them to a Japanese Vet out in town. They were great and the cats are no worse for the wear. The poor babies were groggy when they got home, but were back to mayhem the next morning. I think my couch and leather chair are breathing a sigh of relief...........
