Garth's First Football Game

Garth decided this year that he wanted to give football a try. He is on the Foster Cougars. His team practices 3 days a week and they have a game every Sunday. Unfortunately, they lost their first game this past weekend and the boys were pretty upset. Garth got the wind knocked out of him pretty good while going up for a pass, but felt better about the whole situation when he was able to reciprocate the favor. When football ends it will be on to soccer.....Enjoy the photos....

Heather is leaving Okinawa

I met Heather when I volunteered on the Labor & Delivery floor at the Naval Hospital here in Okinawa. We have become great friends and she is very dear to me. She is out of here and I will be taking she and Scuba to the airport on the 12th. We made one last trip to The Cove last Saturday and drank entirely too much cheap white wine and Orion drafts. Okinawa's loss is Oklahoma's gain. I'll miss you Heather........
